Over the years gold jewellery has always had competition. Booms in silver & costume jewellery have always come & gone as consumers often know they are short-term fashion pieces & rarely retain any value. Unlike gold. There has certainly been many trends of gold plated or fashion items that consumers have purchased for that bit of fun. Maybe it was a bit cheaper but customers are quickly realising that they are not long-term investments & have started to return to jewellery that will stand the test of time. Consumers are beginning to look back at quality items with the better value often being in classic gold pieces. I mean nothing says luxury or success more than gold & diamonds, am I right?
